What is the role?

The Product/Project Management team is responsible for the management of the full life cycle of 2.0 mobile products for Buongiorno across the UK & International Region. The junior Product / Project Manager will be responsible for defining and planning the regional roadmap in support of the regional Lead Product/Program Manager, requiring close collaboration with various cross functional teams including design, development, tech project management, product and marketing teams to deliver 2.0 web apps (The UK & International region covers the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, South Africa, India, Australia, Russia and in general the Middle East and Asia.)

What are the main responsibilities & tasks?

  • Support regional Lead Product/Program Manager in delivery of product/ project against regional roadmap.
  • Co-ordinate the communication of strategy, goals, operational status and prioritisation within your domain. Ensure projects/products are optimised to meet traffic and revenue goals.
  • Influence operative functional decisions through advice or provide services which directly impact the business.
  • Conduct regular goal setting and reviewing and update the Lead Product/Program Manager regularly on performance.
  • Consult with the business, marketing, product and technical teams to design innovative features and products with great UX for next generation phones, tablets, and other mobile devices.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements.
  • Provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment, identify and communicate risks and impacts.   Propose risk mitigation options when necessary.
  • Provide direction and leadership; act as interface between Business, Product and Technical teams in all phases of the project/product roll out process.
  • Work closely with regional Country Managers to define project procedures and scheduling.

What kind of profile do we need?

  • Enthusiastic and talented person with relevant professional experience (minimum 2 years) in defining business requirements and business process analysis as part of a technical development or service delivery organization within a mobile domain. Ideally previous experience as Product Manager, Project Manager, Technical Project Manager,
  • Good understanding of and highly conversant in the mobile industry, including familiarity with mobile design and development best practices across multiple international countries.
    • Knowledge of emerging technologies, trends and capabilities within the mobile domain.
    • Proficient in the creation of Use Case Diagrams, Business Process Mapping, Requirements Definition, Quality Attributes, Business Case, Business Objectives, Goals and drivers.
    • Demonstrate experience in project planning, co-ordination and management.
    • Proven practical experience working in both a Waterfall and Agile environment and a thorough familiarity with the tools and techniques of Scrum.
  • Must be fluent in all standard MS Office applications, such as Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Languages: English required, other languages (e.g. Russian, German, Italian, Spanish) would be an advantage.

What is the role?

As Innovation Manager, you will join the US local Product team and you will be responsible for a series of new and innovative projects employing the latest technologies and creative approaches to solve business problems and to open new opportunities for the company.

What are the main responsibilities & tasks?

  • Lead experimentation and drive the development of our new mobile apps prototype projects.
  • Become the point of reference for new innovative marketing approaches taking full advantage of HTML5 capabilities

What kind of profile do we need?

You are a self-starter and enthusiastic developer, with a hacker approach to solving problems and finding new opportunities for the company. You have experience in mobile web development and you are comfortable in working in a small product team with a startup mentality together with a product manager and a creative/UX designer.

You are familiar with the developer community in the US and Canada, and have significant contacts there that you can bring with you for the purposes of launching Appsfuel and further developing our product understanding of HTML5.

Tech Requirements

  •  Expert knowledge of JavaScript. Aware of but not reliant on Object Oriented JavaScript Frameworks (Zepto, Backbonejs, etc.)

  • Experience developing HTML5 web sites for tablets and smart phones
  • Experience with integrating back-end web services, via REST-based APIs.
