For our office in Milan (Italy), we are searching for an: Senior Java Architect

What is the role?

The candidate will be be a part of the Winga Technical Team in Milan as Senior Java Developer / Architect and will be responsible for managing and planning tasks and resources of the Italian Team.

What are the main responsibilities & tasks?

Responsibilities: 

The Candidate will be responsible for the design, definition, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of the Software Architecture. He / She must ensure and certify software product releases, both internally and from external suppliers, must be autonomous in designing technology and should coordinate with both, the Group of infrastructure and colleagues engaged in Software Production. He will collaborate directly with the Head of Business of Winga Italy.

 Tasks:

Analysis, Feasibility, Design of Software Architecture, Development / Maintenance of critical components, goal setting, resource planning and activities related to team management.

What kind of profile do we need?

Required Skills:

• 5+ experience in Java Development
• Proven experience in Team Management (5+ developers)
• Proven Experience Spring 2.5 or 3.0
• Proven Experience knowledge of SOA Architecture
• Solid knowledge of REST and SOAP web services
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server Enterprise and T-SQL

Other Skills (Not Mandatory): 

• Experience with Apache Velocity
• Experience with JMS/Active MQ
• Experience with Quartz
• Java Portlet Development (Liferay Portal)
• Experience with Maven and Continuous integration tool (Jenkins CI/Artifactory)
